It's a false conclusion that sexual needs disappear with age. 
It is true that the desire for sex lessens over the years, but it never completely disappears. There are no particular reasons for this,  neither physiological nor psychological.
<BR><BR>
A recent survey among 61-75 year-old persons two thirds reported 
that sex is not unimportant to them. 61% of the women and 58% of the men felt sexual desire on a regular basis. Another survey states that persons between 56 and 65 are sexually more active than 25 year-olds especially when they have a serious relationship.
